House update / Yay for Parcel! / Hospital

Firstly, update on the house.

Got the mess about 'obtaining an early buyer' sorted out - turns out that the guy who told me 10 weeks before the house is completed, actually meant 10 days, and whilst this may sound worse, it's actually better, because i'll have a much better idea when that deadline is going to happen, rather than having no idea at all when they might say "Right Mr. B, do you have a buyer? No? Then we're selling your new house to someone else..." Also got some chance of getting the mortgage I need, so i've made my deposit a permanant one. At least I think I have - the guy hasn't responded to my email yet, useless sod.

Secondly, I got a parcel from [info]gossamer_gull

Yay for parcel... I got Cthookies, some Hershey Milk-Duds, some cool quarters and this fantastic peice of cross stitching in the form of a kestrel on a first class stamp - i collect hawks, raptors and falcons on stamps - I'm going to get it framed.

Thirdy, Hospital Visit

Been coughing and wheezing over the last week or so - probably the weather etc, also been waking up suffocating at night, which is unpleasant the first few times it happens and you've left your inhaler downstairs. Got worse and worse, an eventually my 'reliever' inhaler wasn't, so after driving to my surgery to try to see the doctor, i was told there was nothing they could do, and I whilst driving out of the surgery carparky thing I was close to hitting a parked car due to a coughing fit at the wrong time. At that point i probably should have got someone to get me to A&E, but i felt so put down by the people at the surgery who made me feel like a burden, i decided to drive there. Well, I got there in one peice, and eventually got nebulised and stuff. Stuff was a doubling of the dose of my meds, and some new steroid pills, which i should shortly expect a bill for, aparrently. The doc in A&E was surprised I didn't have an NHS season ticket. Anyway, feeling rather better now, if very knackered. Doctor said it was probably kicked off by the storms - aparently he had 30 people in with major attacks on monday, and I was one of 5 in today. So great, now i'm allergic to my favourite sort of weather.

And that's my lot for the moment.
